A top shot model Diya (Amy Jackson) falls in love with Mr. Tamil Nadu Lingesan (Vikram), and together they become the most wanted model pair in the country. When Lingesan rejects an advertisement of a wealthy businessman (Ramkumar), who gave him the big break into ad world, he plans revenge against him. Now, he is joined by a greedy model (Upen Patel), lusty doctor (Suresh Gopi) and a trans-gender stylist who are out to cause massive damage to Lingesan's life which is worse than death. The rest of the story is how Lingesan takes revenge against these powerful people in the society.

Sriram Raghavan's neo-noir crime thriller is about vengeance and forgiveness all right, but one thing that the film isn't is conventional. Badlapur toys with many shades of grey, significantly enhancing the effect of its pivotal dramatic conflict.In conclusion, Badlapur might not be in the Ek Hasina Thi and Johnny Gaddar league, but it is a happy sign that Sriram Raghavan has left Agent Vinod behind.
Badlapur is a gob smacking movie that suffuses on screen - a deftly written story, spectacular performances and an intelligently layered screenplay. What works best here is the film's unpredictability. From the minute it begins, you're latched to your seat with your heart throbbing in your mouth and your throat frequently choking up. For the sheer impact the movie conjures up, writer-director Sriram Raghavan deserves a bow.This film has some amazing moments and a lot of credit goes to the director and his actors. Raghvan gives them an open field to perform and show their best skills, the magic is obviously in the writing. If you enjoy thrillers then you shouldn't miss Badlapur, you get the watch the best of Varun and Nawaz.
While the first half keeps you firmly in its grip, the second half starts meandering a little till it captures you back with an absolutely unforeseeable climax. What you mainly take away from this movie is its core; a story (written by Sriram Raghavan) that tells us that most often the situation is the villain. And, perhaps, each of us is capable of turning a criminal when faced with an extreme situation.
Badlapur is a complete performance driven film. It is one of the best neo-noir representation in Indian cinema. Badlapur is not everyone's regular coffee, it's black coffee! This film deals with dark humor and so if your taste buds can enjoy bloody revenges, you will savor this as a delicacy.

Roy' is textured and tinted marvelously by cinematographer Himman Dhamija, but Singh's story is unable to lend it enough substance. Had Dipika Kalra exercised ruthlessness on the editing desk, it would've tipped the odds in its favour. Roy' is a marvelously shot movie, no doubt, and holds immense promise, but never quite sums up into anything of substance. We only wish it was more about the heist, and less about the heart.
The film is shot beautifully. The screenplay is clever too. A story that keeps shifting between time and space from real life to reel and vice versa, life can be puzzling but the smart screenplay avoids any such confusion. I just wish they hadn't packed too much randomness in the name of art and intensity. Watch it for the debutant director's attempt at telling a different story with gorgeous actors that make enough eye candies! .
Roy movie basically is of a romantic thriller type. It will catch your attention all the time inhale like glue. Story lining is awesome. Nothing extra added up there. No extra masala. Two item songs are also appropriate according to the plot. The cat-mouse chase is little there. Ranbir Kapoor is a thief and Arjun Rampal is a director and play boy, from the characters, you may predict that there will a run and chase and a little fight. But if you think that all Bollywood movies are about touchy romantic angles, fight, chasing villain and happy ending, you are wrong. Though Roy has neither love angles nor hardcore fighting. Expectation of fighting is also more than day dream as Chocolate Boy is there-He can't fight; only flight, some filmy fights and kungfu moves will surely entertain you. Within his yearlong break after Besharam, he learnt many mixed martial art moves. Yes, that was indeed to tackle muscleman play boy like Arjun Rampal. Rest of Roy's story is a suspense thriller that uncovered slowly and dramatically.

Movie Name :- Tevar Genre : Action / Drama Rating : Average 2.5/5 Tevar is a routine good vs evil flick devoid of story and direction. What works is commendable performances and well-choreographed action stunts. As Pintu( Arjun Kapoor) supports Radhika( Sonakshi Sinha) who escapes from the hell of local mafia Gajendra Singh(Manoj Bajpai), he falls in love with her and must fight to protect her Directed by Amit Sharma, Tevar is a typical love story we have seen on Indian screen times. The screenplay is poor with unnecessary inclusion of songs cause hindrance to the movement of the film. The director had made sure to make a masala potboiler for front- benchers and creates a senseless caper. Cinematography is eye- catching. Editing could have been better. However , action sequences played by Arjun Kapoor , dialogues with witty one-liners are good. The actor gives good performance with serious tone in his voice. He should probably work on his looks to have conventional hero attitude. Manoj Bajpai does well in the negative role. Sonakshi Sinha is fine. Overall , if you are longing for some masala potboiler, Tevar is a one-time watch. Otherwise , you might want to skip it. Average 2.5/5

Sonali Cable (2014)

It is laborious to sit through the 127 minute-long film, and soon you are left wondering if director-writer Acharya bit off far more than what he could chew with this one. After watching the film, one gets the feeling that he put way too many issues on his plate, and when it came to arranging his full plate, he couldn't handle the task. Simply put, he fails miserably in establishing his credibility as someone who is serious about handling the issues.
Ditto for the emotions, the obvious by-product of any big versus small player fight: Acharya, it seems, just forgot the cardinal rule that one needs to build the tempo if you want those vulnerabilities to resonate with the audience.

Lingaa (2014)
Lingaa is an upcoming Tamil action thriller film being directed by K. S. Ravikumar, who also scripted the film in collaboration with the film's dialogue writer, Pon Kumaran. The film stars Rajinikanth playing dual role, Jagapati Babu, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Music is being composed by A. R. Rahman while cinematography was headed by R. Rathnavelu. This is slated to get released only in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language.

I can say it is a really family picture and you can watch with your kid.
There 2 Rajini story and both are directed very well and very amazing to showing Rajini with Young.
Big plus for Rajini fans. Mostly positive on this movie.
Only I felt in the movie was sudden slow or moving film slow at old Rajini. May if this showed fast then it is very excellent.
Definitely you can watch this movie and enjoy it.

You'll laugh your hearts out, you'll cry, you'll leave the theater inspired, and with a sense of joy, that only a Rajkumar Hirani film can give to you. Aamir was the heart and soul of the movie. You can't take your eyes off of him. Anushka Sharma was brilliant too. She has evolved as an actor over the years, and it clearly reflects in her role. Sanjay Dutt and Sushant chipped in with some brilliant cameos. This movie is definitely the best of 2014. In Rajkumar Hirani, we trust.
P.S. There's a pleasant surprise right at the end. Enough said, go book your date with PK.
